Drive Center keeps every lesson, car, credit minute and practice hour in one place for students, families, instructors and the office.

The program at a glance

6 BTW instructor hours

Every student completes a full six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction, with required driving skills rated at mastery.

Groups of 2–3 per car

Every confirmed lesson pairs an instructor with two or three students, balanced fairly across the schedule.

60 credit minutes per lesson

Each completed standard session credits every present student exactly 60 behind-the-wheel minutes.

One-time $50 BTW fee

Paid once on the CPS payment portal; upload the receipt and the office verifies it before scheduling counts toward completion.

Create your account
Students and parents/guardians sign up with an email address and verify it. The center securely links your account to your student record.

Book your lesson
Choose a date, time and session that works for you. The schedule balances every group across eligible instructors and available cars.

Check in and drive
Check in from your phone or at the front desk, meet your group, and your instructor picks an available vehicle to start the session.

Complete and report
Reach your hours and skill mastery, get verified by the office, and staff file the state course-completion update for you.
